You tried to be rude/snarky to people in some posts on here...and you were shown to be wrong, quite clearly...instead of eating your words, you want to just double and triple down...you have no humility, decency or honor...but I guess it's easy to act like that on the internet, so have at it buddy.

You should change that avatar pic btw...makes you look pretty suspect.
    LOL.

    YOU... DONT... KNOW... BOXING.

And what about my Avatar pic????

Yeah, it is was the right decision, I assume Rigo was landing the better/cleaner shots in the fight, and maybe more of them...that's all any good judge scores.

      How did you score Lara-Hurd?

How do you guys think you're winning this 'debate'...you both look like a couple of clowns lol.

Yeah if either of you guys look better/ are better than me (in any possible way), you are doing great...so I hope the best for you guys.

A guy talking about looks, with the profile picture you have, is really funny though...you look a little sweet to me so I guess you are used to fantasizing about what guys look like.
I’m talking about the fact if we looked at you in real life, it would be embarrassing having this conversation with you.

If you ever walked into my gym and people looked at us having this conversation, it would be laughable.. you probably don’t have a spec of athletic ability and you’re telling actual fighters how to judge fights when you’ve never been around the sport.

Do you ****ing get it clown?

And that’s Sam Cooke you ****ing idiot. That proves even more that you have zero life experience and you’ve completely embarrassed your ****ing self.

Of course, like agressive fighters, who you obviously value more and are personally invested like GGG with sub par defense. Ignoring or simply being unable to see all the good things the other side is doing such as slipping punches and showing elite level upper movement and evasive footwork like Canelo does.

Good defense is usually very easy to notice when you know what you're looking at and don't only care about who's better at bashing the other fighter's face in.

No, the purpose of the sport is to show clean punching, defense, ring generalship, and effective aggression. Defense is never judged alone, but can and should be a differentiating factor in close rounds.

In this case, boxer B showed superior defense, and boxer A showed ineffective aggression. Fighters A was able to show that he was a superior boxer in one particular skill set. There is not a single effective aggressor that will not be able to land a single punch on an opponent. It never happened and it never will, so stop bringing ridiculous hypotheticals to prove your your point.
GREAT Posts! He completely IGNORES defense and body work.

He think looking like Hellen Keller throwing a thousand punches hoping one eventually lands is “Effective Aggression” or “Clean accurate” punching.

If boxer “A” throws a 100 punches and lands 20 while Boxer “B” throws 45 and lands 18 or 19 he has boxer “A” winning.

We won’t even get in how a guy lands close to 50% of his power punches compared to the other one missing soo bad he couldn’t hit the backside of a barn.

I have no F’n clue what’s he looking at when he judges fights??? You know what I DO KNOW!!!

He looking at that GGGood DIC! Compubox and Dics is how he scores fights....

I'm 6'2 200 and can guarantee pretty much that I'm way more athletic, and have basically proven that way more intelligent, than you...but keep telling yourself whatever you need to buddy...my sig tells anyone all they need to know about you/your intelligence...and the way you've responded to being so clearly wrong tells us all we need to know about your character. Peace, have a great day!

Btw...just because that's Sam Cooke doesn't mean it's an OK picture to have own your wall...you just seem a little sweet to have that particular picture as your avatar...not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that, sweet boy.

              • The first and foremost criteria to scoring a fight is clean punches landed. This is beyond debate. Most fights are easy to score, based on this alone. Where it starts to get fuzzy is how effective said punches are. If one fighter lands four powderpuff jabs and the other lands a cracking left hook, which deserves the round? That’s why they have judges, and why we sometimes disagree with them. Effective aggression, ring generalship and defense are lesser scoring criteria, but they shouldn’t be overlooked — especially in a close fight.

Here is a very short Harold Ledderman video that summarizes the way scoring is done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHnEva3lC9Y

I don't really seek out many 2nd tier fights, when I am not a big fan of either guy, or if I don't have the subscription to the network it is on.

Acting like watching that particular fight is some barometer of boxing acumen...I mean I guess that's all you guys can try and lean on to act like you're winning here lol.

                    • I dunno why y'all're trying. Let the kid whine every time a card comes up he doesn't understand. It's not a big deal....there are plenty who understand generalship and still cry about cards. **** it.

Basically, there's going to be a certain number of fans who try to force boxing into their conceptions rather than learning the reality of the sport. There's no point in arguing with these people.....plus I'm pretty sure L's right, this guy's a child. Maybe early 20s or some **** at best.
