I was impressed too. I wrote Hunter off before that fight. Only thing I would say is that one of Povetkins main strengths - Speed was cancelled out by Hunter in that fight. It was a bit like Haye fighting Belew at HW. Haye's usual assets meant little in that fight because Belew was also small and fast at HW. Same with Fury when he fought Cunningham

I'd like to see Hunter in next against the bigger fighters who will keep their strengths against Hunter, to get a better idea

Usyk gets credit from me at HW when he earns it.

Joyce was a novice then and he hit Usyk a lot. So that probably doesn't bode well for Usyk when he fights someone with a hard punch. Only way Joyce beats people is to hit them about 100 times. He doesn't hit that hard and he's slow.
That’s Usyks full fledged first bout at that weight class off a long lay off I don’t know what you’re getting at ?

It wouldnt shock me if Wilder picked a Witherspoon as an 6th or 7th title defense because he already tried getting a much weaker Wawrzk at one time a polish heavyweight out of left field .

You think Joyce doesn’t hit hard but stopped a better prepared Stiverne then Wilder did who fought him overweight and out of the ring for two years , Wilder didn’t even stop Stiverne when he was prepared in 2015 .

He added muscle for that fight , he had a full training camp and did a lot of weight training he didn’t come off his sofa for a crazy mandatory title fight like he did with Wilder . Ortiz is 49 why do you keep bringing up age ?

Edit : Joyce also beat up Stiverne bad enough in sparring prior to the second Wilder fighter he was kicked out of the gym . What did he weigh then ? Ha

Had Pulev decline multiple times and he even faked an injury to get out of the last one.

AJ called Parkers mom up shes was so afraid for here son he promised her he would leave the ring uninjured.

Had Miller in some lab trying to make himself into a Frankenstein just to compete with multiple illegal peds in his system . .

Had Whyte decline his biggest pay and included a rematch clause even though he had no belt .

Had Wilder frightened to death so much he didn't take 100/120 million deals way before the other highest paydays he was offered.

Had Fury demanding 60% who offered /agreed to Wilder 50% in their fight.

Had to bribe Ruiz in an already binded contract to fight again for more money .

I'm probably forgetting some but we know who the Boogeyman is. If hes not I don't what would qualify because ive never seen anything like this. Ha
Ruiz beat AJ like a dog and you call him a boogeyman? He paid Ruiz more to make him go to Saudi and fight in a supermassive ring that is illegal in the UK as that was the only way he could cowardly win by hitting and running ....like a dog 😆

Ruiz cried about a U.K fight so that doesn’t even make sense with ring size .

Never watched Hunter until the Povetkin fight. He looks decent but nothing to worry about for the big guys. He would give Whyte, Usyk and Parker good fights but ultimately too small for the top 3 imo.

Rematch Hunter -Povetkin should be made if Povetkin doesn`t fight Whyte next.
