Comments Thread For: Liam Smith: I'm 100% Confident That I'd Beat Kell Brook

Liam Smith is very confident in his ability to defeat fellow former world champion Kell Brook, who returns this weekend after being away from the ring sin December 2018, when he had a tougher than expected decision win over Michael Zerafa.

Brook won't want that work. He'll pull a Khan and say he's looking fo bigger fights as, like Khan, it ends him when he loses to another UK fighter.

This is true. Made me laugh reading Liam Smith's comments about Kell Brook wasting his career. Basically called him a failure.

Good cross roads fight for both fighters at this stage. Can remember when warren offered 600k for a shot at Smiths 154 wbo title and brook didnt want to know... Smith went on to face canelo where as Brook went on to get his career ruined by GGG for £3mill. Was it worth the pay day???

I think there'll be a lot of boxing people see it that way as well.

Aside from Porter, Brook has a lesser resume than Smith.

Altohugh picking and choosing from resume is a bit strawman of me, to be fair.

Smith is a long way off from GGG and Spence...

Brook beats him up. Probably even stops him late.

Brook was a quality fighter with terrible luck both his losses because of the same injury on different eyes. Don't know why he's been ****ing about since 2017, times not on his side.

Brook has taken far too much time out of the ring but the fight with GGG and Spence wasn't a case of him getting cleaned out in every big fight he's been in. So abit harsh from Williams there.

Kell Brook made a fool hearty bet on himself by getting in with GGG when he did. Too much too soon against a live dog that was too big and strong for him. I respect him for taking a gamble but think he should've stayed in his own lane a while longer.
