  • Comments Thread For: Fury: I Hurt Wilder A lot in First Fight, This Time I'll Take Him Out!

Tyson Fury believes that he physically hurt WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder several times in their first meeting back in December of 2018 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Fury will challenge Wilder for a second time on February 22nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

I have no doubts that Fury can get the W this time, but not via KO. He'll likely come thru it with a comfortable UD after even less close calls than the first fight. I don't think Wilder has any understanding in how to do some new moves.... whereas Fury will have no worries pulling off a few new tricks. This should be an extremely entertaining fight.... and great for the sport in general.

It’s less dangerous to take the fight inside and go for the knockout against Wilder than to try and outbox him for 12 rounds.

In one scenario you’re shortening the length of the fight in a manner that exposes Wilders lack of skill and ability. In the other scenario you’re letting him fight at a slow pace where he will be dangerous for 36 minutes.

When there is a guy with less talent than you then you got to test him. If he passes that test then test him again. Do not stand in front of him or back away. That’s what he wants you to do because his lack of experience requires him to think about every move he is making. Shut all that down by rushing him.

This will basically be a game of chess.

Wilder will wait for the right occasion to hit and ko Fury.

Fury will try to not give him that occasion.

I'm really doubtful that Fury will try to ko Wilder, unless he really get exposed.

Yes, that's very likely how it'll be. Just cannot see fury electing to punch it out, irrespective of all the bluff and bluster he's putting out. That's just more to try to mess with Wilders head.

There is no speculation whether YOU were hurt Gypsy-Bum, the world seen your Looney-Tunes eyeball's spinning around like Green-leaf-clovers inside a slot machine in the 12th round -- YOU GOT LUCKY TYSON! A 212 pound, injured Deontay Wilder gave you the beating of your life ; tha champ was dehydrated, injured and fatigued -- you are getting it real soon!

"...but for certain fights you need certain styles and what I did before clearly is not good enough..."

Wilder is in his head! Wallin is in his head! He's getting touched like never before, and he knows it only takes one!

Tyson is the boxer and he will know what he did wrong last time. Maybe not be so predictable how he dodges the punches, like fury dodged right hand the same way throughtout the fight. And when Wilder misses he must be made to pay more. Otherwise he will just throw with wild abandonment. He dont get disheartened missing and dont get embarassed missing wildly, as long as he gets you eventually.

Fury needs to be Clay vs Liston.

Only adjustment Wilder needs to make is to invest in the body early,, If he did that the first fight we wouldn't be having this rematch.
