That Tom Brady commerical was selling the app, not a particular showYou've got to have something to sell though.
Say what you want, having Tom Brady come forward, in a speech that sounded like a precursor to retirement, to turn around and sell Hulu, actually made sense and likely made Hulu some money.
Who/what does DAZN have to parlay that?
Canelo doesn't like promos in English, Joshua getting stopped in MSG by the Snickers fat kid hurt his momentum, and there's really no one else with DAZN.
Feature Michael Buffer in a commercial? LolComment

Bruh.... They would lose money... It aint worth it. Look at that list u talking about and the target audience.
Now compare that to DAZN the boxing sports App nobody heard of.
Most of those brands if not all are already established btwComment

And you think they're making money from the cards they're putting on?!?
Their target audience is sports fans
Isn't this the reason you put on commercials?!?!? Isn't that the main reason you advertise???Comment

Im saying it wouldnt be worth the money it costs .
We can agree to disagreeComment

Missed opportunity or not worth the money? There is no way on earth anybody could say not a good time for exposure as a sports network is during the Superbowl. But at that price youd want to be having a USP, Fox had the Fury Wilder rematch, great timing to push for that fight. Has DAZN got something they could directly push out ahead of the app as a whole to maximize the impact to get the most out of the money?Last edited by DaNeutral.; 02-04-2020, 11:19 AM.Comment

A commercial in front of 100 mil people is a missed opportunity. They offered Charlo more money than what a commercial would've cost to shoot & air.Missed opportunity or not worth the money? The Superbowl is the only time people actually pay attention to the commercials.Comment

It's worth more than that card they put on Thursday. This is the only time people pay attention to the commercials. You're saying it's an app no one has heard of. Well, why wouldn't you want to advertise to sports fans if you're trying to be the "Netflix's of Sports"? It would've been cheaper and gotten a lot more views/engagement than the total number of cards they've put on this far.Comment
