Not really about being sheltered. It's literally about right and wrong. There's no gray area in this situation. Strangely, people are trying to place the onus on the victim here which is wild but common. No way I'd be okay seeing my sister, daughter or mother handled that way and I think we as people, especially men have to at least try to empathize.

I feel like the guys here that are so nonchalantly dismissing this may have issues with women in their lives whether it's their mother, grandmother or some other deep rooted issues in masculinity or their ideal of it. Not you in particular but just the various other comments I've been reading so far.

Anybody not being completely naive or blind sees that Tank might be headed in the wrong direction. He's young but it's about his support system and whether they are any better than him to help rectify his behaviors or just reinforce them.

It is about being sheltered because neither one of you realize a lot of these *****es like this type of ****. She's that type. If you weren't sheltered you wouldn't be white knighting her.
