Guajardo needed to be humbled with that ****y attitude of his. It showed from the moment he went face to face with Collard. Despite his first loss, he did himself no favors in trying to earn the fans support by pulling the mic to make it about himself. Hopefully, he adjusts that attitude. If not, then straight up he's just a punk who's gonna taste canvas again

Great stoppage. The ref properly gave each man a chance to redeem himself up until the very last moment. This was boxing at it's best.

Damn, I didn’t know this Guajardo kid was such a prick.

Old****! Your white guy fought a kid who has no boxing skills. A kid and a ****** corner who thought he could KO everyone he fights. Get rid of your corner (father) and learn to box!

It was a man against a boy. Once the boy started swinging with reckless abandon looking for a quick KO against a cherry pick he GAVE Collard a chance and he took the chance.

I wonder what kind of amateur experience Guajardo has. He just had no clue how to react to allow his head to clear when hurt.

They left the fight go on because Collard got knocked down bad when he went for the kill. Fun fight

That kid needs a new corner crew cuz that took years off his career!

He was still hurt going into round 2 and they didn’t even try to buy him more time or even told him to just make it out of the ring and get his legs underneath him!

Horrid corner and ****** ref but exciting fight with big unexpected results!
How is a completely untested prospect who has no significant amateur boxing background losing against a limited but tough journeyman the upset of the year?

A bit hyperbole but still it’s a massive upset since this was a showcase fight for the prospect, the guy came in to get flattened not put up a fight!

Been looking for the odds but can’t seem to find any!

There wasnt any odds on that fight. The fight was too lowkey for it to have some odds probably.

It's not that massive. Prospects get upset a lot of times. It would be a massive upset if it happened to one of those prospects who were highly touted amateur boxers, but no one had this kid on the radar.
His opponent was also previously able to beat unbeaten prospects.

Robeisy Ramirez losing his debut was a massive upset for example.

By the way, I keep track of the odds and these are the fighters who lost to an underdog in 2020.

Julian Williams Vs Jeison Rosario 1,04 9,00
Ricky Lopez Vs Jose Luis Gallegos 1,05 8,50
Clovis Drolet Vs Mponda Kalunga 1,06 8,00
Anthony Sims Jr. Vs Alexis Angulo 1,07 7,50
Alicia Espinosa Vs Elin Cederoos 1,16 4,50
Jesse Hart Vs Joe Smith Jr. 1,25 3,75
Tevin Farmer Vs Joseph Diaz 1,44 2,75

Guajardo was terrible, no defense at all, no head movement, not even a solid guard.

He should not hold a pro license.

Arrogant little prick took his beating like a b1tch.
