Wilder and his fans don't want it because it is not "an easy KO". They know Whyte will come to slug it out and would be on the front foot most of the fight. He has a good left hook and punches well to the body. He has put down a couple of fighters with just a single shot (Parker, Chisora, Brown), two of those cases were KOs. Also, he lets his hands go.
Against any fighter in the division, Whyte has more than a puncher's chance.
