Hearn is superficially correct; the obstacles though are in how the contract would be structured. In order for Joshua to fight the winner between Wilder and Fury the splits have to be fair and I'm not certain they will be, especially from the viewpoints of Wilder or Fury. I know that Joshua fans will clamor that he is the "A" side and deserves a lion's share of the financials but even if that were true it might not be acceptable to Wilder or Fury. So, in order to make the fight happen Hearn will maybe have to eat humble pie.
Barry Hearn said years ago that AJ was not going to face Wilder at least until 2020. So much for all that Ducking talk when they mapped out AJ's fights during that time.
If fury beats wilder again he shouldn't give wilder a rematch. But if wilder beats fury it's one apiece and wilder should give rematch to fury
Josh will get a fight with both of them at some point. Difficult to predict when wilder will fancy his chances against Josh though
Any where outside of a special arena, a 22 foot ring would reach under the balcony, ringside would be in the nosebleed section. I didn't want to see that. Hearn doesn't care what you want to see.
I wanted to see Andy v AK in a phone booth, at least within reach of each other, but what did we get? Everybody saw AK losing weight, training for a marathon and suprise. The ring is a race track, two phone booths and long distance between them.
You know your fight is a dud, when you spend all your time marketing the competitions fight.
AJ better watch out, they are looking to transfer those belts to Usyk. That’s the only way AJ is fighting the winner of Wilder/Fury.
Either way these guys need to figure out what makes AJ verses PK compelling. How many times are they going to say Wilder/Fury this month? Wasn’t that what AJ said lead to the Ruiz loss? He kept looking past Ruiz to Wilder. Yet here we go again with this clout chasing.
