Maidana was Khans last good win and that was back in 2010 at 140. Floyd fought mosley that year at 147.

Floyd TRIED to make a Khan fight for 5 years but Khan kept losing and had no strong wins that could help sell that fight.
Maidana wore pillows against Floyd, remember that also.

A lot of people are acting like the prospect of Floyd fighting Khan wasn't viewed as a cherrypick back then.

Here's one such thread from the poll era, with cries of it being "rigged" for a soft matchup.

This narrative came to life after Floyd schooled Manny, and it was as desperate a search for a boogeyman as I've ever witnessed.

Revisionist history is a funny thing.

No one ever saw Khan as a threat to Money and had Money fought him folks would have cried like they did Berto, except, Floyd might have picked up extra criticism because he'd been talking KO for a while there at the end of his career and Khan's like the only guy with name enough to fight and a soft enough chin to think maybe Floyd gets the KO this time.

As for Khan .I think he is a decent boxer but Mayweather is another level and beats him comfortably late on. Potentially similar to the Ricky Hatton fight. Hatton gave Mayweather problems early on with his intensity but Mayweather adapted.Likewise Khans hand speed may have caused Floyd some problems but Floyd adapts and possibly knocks him out.

            Nailed it.

Floyd was the best at spotting potential threats and avoiding them. He was like a bug that scatters when the light turns on in that sense. Those are the types that live forever.

It’s a good video for entertainment. Just the idea of Mayweather asking permission to use khans signature shoe is very entertaining. But you are right can’t believe everything

I still feel Khan v Mayweather would have been an ok fight to watch and probably better than the likes of when Mayweather fought Berto.

Khan was not a great boxer. Not great, special, or worldly. He was just another very talented fighter who knew how to use his handspeed to beat his opponents. He had a myriad of flaws.

Left his chin in the air
                  Could not fight moving backwards
                  poor upper body movement
always threw punches at the same speed

He only had fast hands. Which is more like shoe shining hand speed.

People always make a big fuss about the guys who Floyd fought and they had slow feet, but Khan didn't have better feet. His were clumsy and sloppy

khan was denied his signature win and passing of the torch from the greatest of the 00's to the greatest of the teens and probably the 20's. shame!

                      Amir Khan 48%
                      Kell Brook 24%
                      Terrence Crawford 21%
                      Jeff Horn 7%

So not only did Pacquiao duck Khan but Brook and Crawford also. He then ducked a Horn rematch after he got beat.

Your joking right Khan by that time was a shell, Pac gave him mercy. That would of been an execution.
