The 3 million is paid upfront which is why it gets reported to the commission. That’s for tax purposes. Now the 20 million guaranteed could be paid out over a number of years. I remember Floyd bragging during the Cotto build up that he was still getting checks from the De La Hoya fight. And that’s what 5 years after the fact.

thats because floyd has his payouts specifically structured like that....he gets a check every month...he might not have even seen a dime from the mcgregor fight yet

not sure every guy has something like that....but still youre right...guys are getting more than their listed purses...its common knowledge...fighters have confirmed and proven it.....but the pbc haters are still in denial because its just easier for them to deny and then act like every offer they "turn down" is amazing....that storyline is convenient for them

Isn't Fury on a 5 fight contract w/ TR for like $80 million? I'm sure there is some PPV points deal worked into and possibly title bonuses.
