Why do posters go out of their way to diss women's boxing? They fighters too!

I dont get it either. 90% of these ladies would whoop the dogchit out of the posters on here.

Maybe that's it?

You gotta realize, Mane. Most of the people on here have never even stepped foot inside of a boxing gym. It's why it's so easy for them to throw out words like "coward" and "bum"

As a fan of boxing, as a guy who has been in the gym with female fighters, i hate how much they are dissed. I don't get it.

I don't understand it at all, for me boxing is about the test and triumph of the will and I respect all fighters of any level. I enjoy watching boxing matches of any level and seeing the men and women who fight pushing themselves to the limit in pursuit of victory, that's what it's all about to me, whether it's club, regional or international level, men or women, it's the spirit that counts, that makes this greatest sport there is... and women can display that fighting spirit every bit as much as men whether in war or sport when given the chance.

On a more pragmaic note as well, everyone should be able to fight and defend themselves, male or female - perhaps women most of all, and also if this sport is to thrive and gain more support women are a huge and largely untapped market. Also if there's efforts to ban boxing or stop our sons perticipating it's most likely women will be the driving force in that so it's in our interests and that of the sport to make sure more women enjoy and participate. or at least are sympathetic, and there's no better way to do that than encouraging their involvement.
