Biting people has no place in boxing but without video replay of the bite or Danny complaining about the severity of the bite, taking Redkachs entire purse is an overreaction to say the least. It’d be like if someone took your pay for a year because the person you were competing against for a job opening said you did something bad. Then boom. No video, no trial, money is just gone and you can’t work anymore.

A $10K fine alone is sufficient. A year-long suspension for a relatively harmless bite is overkill. Trying to impound the dude's $300K purse is straight-up mafia ****. Dude got in their for 12 damn rounds, so he earned his money.

Just the fact that someone is trying to take his entire purse is legitimately punishable with a lawsuit.

Redkach might not ever have to fight again.

How would a lawsuit occur? The fact that EVERY other incident of biting resulted in a substantially lesser penalty suggesting some sort of inherent bias/discrimination.

Threatening or literally imposing a penalty of a fighters entire purse is setting a precedent that results in class action lawsuits.

I'd tread lightly if I were NYSAC because they are literally attempting to garnish ALL wages from a person who fulfilled his job requirements albeit broke 1 rule along the way, but theres little to zero chance of being fined more than $10k.

With that said Redkach will never make $300k again. It was a very ****** move and of that $300k he'll probably only see about $100k after trainer and promoter cut, training camp fees, any type of insurance, sparring partners, etc

Ugly night for Danny, financially Showtime took a huge hit, struggled with give away tickets, piss poor competition, fight reminded many with boxing knowledge/experience the look as sparring session, embarrassed Showtime commentators trying very hard to be positive but failed also...WEAK all around performances...call it what it is
