Of course the opposition was weak, but to keep composure and stick to what you learned during a fight with that audience is still very well done. He showed good technique and good ring IQ.

Im not saying he can be a champ yet, but if he applies himself with the right fights, he could do very well in the sport. Give him 2-3 years building fights and i think he’ll be knocking on the door at world level.

His brother Logan could also do very well, he has real skills. He just didn’t have enough seasoning to deal with a swarmer like KSI yet, but Logan Paul has great potential. In another 6 months or a year of solid training, someone like KSI wouldn’t last 60 seconds with Logan, or Jake.

Their ability to pick up the skills is very good and quick. They will be serious forces in a few years.

Okay bro, “holding out,” for this prediction. But I don’t want to see these guys against a bunch of YouTube intellectuals that never had a real fight past a year.

If we are saying they are part of the sport and “turning pro,” we need to see them on a standard pro fight circuit.

Why is that important? If they are taking money and opportunity away from real fighters who trained for this for a life time, they need to be fighting those same real fighters proving they deserve their check.

But when I pulled the video up on YouTube, I saw a guy physically bigger and in better shape, fighting a middle-earth hobbit looking intellectual with a hopeful gremlin “no defense,” fighting technique. The guy looked like he was surprised to learn what it actually feels like to be punched in the face?

What Hearn and Dazn are doing is disrupting the sport on a lot of levels. I don’t want to even envision a time where YouTube Banter vets boxing’s champions more often than Amateur competition and Olympic Gold Medals.

There is no reason to try to disguise less than street fighting amongst below par amateurs as Professionals.

No problem with someone starting out late, but YouTubers need to be held to the same standard as every one else. If not GTFO the sport.
