Farmer complained to his corner after rd 1 that he hurt his hand, not sure what caused the blinking but it couldn't have been good like mentioned earlier Mcclellen also showed excess blinking before his last fight and now he's 90% deadComment

I don't condone a fighter quitting during a bout, but, if Farmer decided to pack it in last night, I wouldn't have anything bad to say about him.
As far as I see, this was a guy who started boxing late and had his shares of ups and downs earlier in his career.
He just became champion (which was his dream) not long ago, but letting that belt go for one night in order to have a longer career or a life outside of boxing, isn't a bad thing.
Jo Jo fought his heart out and has shown more confidence in his fight game since the GRJ fight.
Credit to both guys and I sincerely hope Farmer's okay, as we haven't heard any bad news since last night.
Somebody mentioned McCellan in this thread and that made me go back and watch it a few mins ago....truly grueling. The ref in that fight was a POS and the ref last night was just as deplorable of a human being.Comment
