Well you got Khabib and Kovalev in your avatar so of course you would see it that way, so Romans uppercuts straight rights and counter lefts to the body are not counted or what?

No Roman did very well, especially after that slow start. He looked like was going to get steamrolled for a bit, and adjusted very well after the first few rounds, all starting with the body shots. He landed a couple of scoring uppercuts, but it was nothing devastating. But even in his best rounds, MJ was controlling the rounds for the most part and fighting at his pace. Those handfuls of uppercuts and body shots weren't enough to win with the way MJ dictated most of the rounds combined with the way his speed/power effected Roman every time he got touched

Never said he barely got hit the punch stats were close but he rolled a lot of MJs shots and a lot were blocked by the gloves I'm fine with the decision but Roman clearly landed on him as well close fight wouldn't mind a rematch.

I had Roman winning the fight 7-5. After 7 rounds I had it 5-2 for Roman so he definitely slipped in the 2nd half of the fight. I wonder if the biased commentary had an effect on fans here scoring the fight? I believe Chris Mannix had Roman losing by 3+ rounds. The announcers kept saying Roman had to be more active, yet he was the more active fighter!

CompuBox saw Roman as more active but Akhmadaliev more accurate. Roman landed 150 of 728 (21%) punches overall, and 131 of 413 (32%) power shots. Akhmadaliev was counted as landing 153 of 498 (31%) total punches, and 114 of 300 (38%) power punches.

Roman was landing the cleaner shots and dictating the pace. He displayed great ring generalship. I'm not a Roman fan, I just tuned in to watch Jojo vs Farmer, so I have no reason to be biased.

I was talking Roman up, but I pulled up short. He has good schooling, but no special gifts. Rigo is a step up from this and Navarette looks like another level.

I was like 116-112 or 115-113 for Murodjon. Good fight for sure! That's why I really wasn't trippin either way....

the Uzbek was more spectacular and eye-catching... but Roman did well enough in order to make close scorecards (CompuBox had Roman landing more power punches)...

Wow! Alot of mixed views on this fight. The Uzbekgifted was there to fight but outclassed in many phases of the fight. The judges were like many fans and didn't see the quick straight punches inside only the wide roundabout swinging from the challanger. Just my opinion. Hope there is a quick rematch. And gotta agree with the comentating. A little bias is an understatement. Wonder if they get a bonus for that..
