Gerald Washington vs Charles Martin co-main for Wilder/Fury II ??!?!?!?

So apparently the IBF eliminator fight Charles Martin vs Gerald Washingotn is the co-main event.....

I guess they're really not wanting people to buy this PPV or just trying to sell it based on the main event alone.

Emmanuel Navarette vs Filipino journeyman Jeo Santisima
Stickman Sebastian Fundora vs "olympian" Daniel Lewis (Okay he made it to the olympics but lost in his 2nd fight...)

What a card! At this point I'd rather just stream it and give my money to the bookies. Not that I'm against the fight, should be fun, but for a co main event? Come on now.... Thought they'd have something decent at least but too late to stack the card now...

A lot of recent PPVs have had awful undercards. The promoters have decided that the main event is what sells so there’s no effort put into the lead up fights anymore.

The network guaranteed these guys a certain amount at least Fury so they can’t really stack it with unknown commodities that aren’t big sellers carrying a main event .

It’s a good fight ,let’s not forget Arreola vs Kownacki was laughed at and that was fight of the year by many , Martin himself was in a great one with Kownacki. Washington isn’t as durable as those guys but he can box and move he’s not overweight and I would argue he’s Wilders 3rd best win not that it says a lot, it could be worse and no heavyweight fight like on the Ortiz card which was poor .

Not paying for it. They had opportunity to stack this card and decided against it

They are taking a page of TR and telling people that they only buy the ppv for the main event. There is a good portion of the ppv buyers that want to see a good undercard

No one buys or not buys a PPV because of the undercard. When was the last time you've seen a undercard fight in a commercial promoted for a PPV?

People will purchase this for Fury and Wilder not for Martin and Washington.

No they couldn’t ,with who ? They already over paid Wilder for Breazeale and they have to compensate Fury so after it doesn’t do well as expected they can tell you guys they made out but really the undercard is getting shredded because of them .

Wilder and Fury aren’t going to take pay cuts to compensate for the undercard on a heavily priced PPV with these guys this isn’t a AJ event , you have two guys bleeding out the promoter who they signed with and not generating what they are given .

It’s a pretty sh**** undercard but it’s all about the main event tbf. Still would’ve liked some better fights though.

I’m guessing it’s an eliminator for the #2 spot or something ****** like that.

I agree that neither guy should be getting another title shot anytime soon though.
