I think some of the WBSS cards on Sky only showed the main fight.
I know in the UK, Channel 5 sometimes only showed the main fight, which was usually Hughie Fury.
Glad you brought up the UK events! I think I remember HBO only airing Brook/GGG on the telecast, and the same may have been done for AJ/Klitzschko on HBO and SHowtime.
I'm also starting to remember....wasn't Spence/Brook a one-fight card on the Showtime telecast?

One way , if the rerun fight they would be showing was a good fight , then I’m guessing it would keep someone watching the live broadcast fight and giving it probably a little kick in the azz viewer wise Didn’t enjoy those one fights without the lead in

I like cards with two are three really good fights on paper for the main TV card. I was there for khan vs Maidana and Ortiz vs PEDerson and i think they were the only televised fights, there were a bunch of under card fights of course, Jessie Vargas i believe was one of them.
Yes, that card was amazing! Golden Boy used to put some great cards together before the Haymon business dealings ended!
Khan controlled the pace but almost got stopped....I remember yelling at the TV and Lamont also put up a great fight against the mental midget Ortiz. Lol
