I think Margarito is even stronger than Hearns actually. Maybe not quite as hard hitting, certainly not as quick, but he is stronger and infinitely more rugged IMO.

Scrutinzed meaning not criticized but actually scrutinzed from defense, to power, to chin, to style, to jab etc etc would definitely have to be:

PBF
Hatton
Cotto (but was cooled down very recently)

The boards here have gone through every aspect of there fighting game to the most extreme, and I therfore consider them the most scrutinized.

I mean every time one of these guys farts, there is a thread saying how it indicates he is great/bum depending on how you personally view them.

Mexicans are just one group, and if it's mainly them who 'hates' him, then they can easily be dismissed and there's no need to bring it up. As for Floyd, when you are number 1 p4p you have to defend that title. He ahs received legit criticism for his choice of opponents over the last 3 years, although some people have taken their critique a step or two too far.

Taylor has faced great opposition, but is the object of annoyance for some fans because he knocked off their hero in a close fight. When there's a close fight, the fan will scream robbery to the high heavens. Taylor's opposition makes up for the fact that he hasn't been able to win convincingly for some fans.

You can't seriously be comparing Margarito to Hearns, I ain't a mexican hater, but it sound like you're the tool. Hearns spent a long time fighting all opposition before he got his chance at the big time against Leonard & Hagler, & I've honestly haven't seen Margarito knock guys out like Hearns did.

As for most scrutinized, i'd have to agree with the list, Floyd Mayweather is always being scrutinized(at least around here), Taylor has barely won his 3 major fight, I'm sure if he had won at least one of those fight decisively there would be less questioning of his skill & merit, I have him #3 p4p cause he's stepped against 2 of the best fighters out there & hasn't lost(even though I think he lost to Wright). As for Pacman I wouldn't say he's as scrutinized as the other 2, besides all the way from the Philippines I don't think he can hear any of it

However they don't scrutinze Margarito that they do other fighters such as PBF, Hatton, Cotto or Pac. The ones I've just named have had atleast 25 threads on every individual aspect of there fighting game.

For example PBF has a ton of threads on his hand speed alone and a ton on his chin i.e. Has PBF's chin ever been tested etc etc. Every aspect of Floyd has been throughly disected in this forum alone.

The same can be said for Hatton, Cotto and Pac.

While there are a lot of post about Margarito it usually centers on those 2 main issues of "Is PBF ducking Margarito" and "Who has Margarito Faced". Margarito's actual fighting hasn't been as throughly scrutinized as the others I have mentioned.
