The OG spit nothing but facts. Wish there were more around like him. Hell, I wish he could be the ONLY Promoter around. He'd make the best fight the best, or if he wasnt the only promoter, we all know damn well he WORKS with other promoters.

At around the 22:30 mark he says he got fired for trying to make the Wilder-DAZN deal and that he was trying to make the best possible deal for the fighter..... make of that what you will.

Didn't he say that he didn't want to make ggg vs martinez bc of financial reasons?

Respects to Lou, always been a fan since the HBO/TVKO days he is a Straight Shooter

He spoke on a lot of things and gave a great inside on how SH#T the Business of Boxing Really Is! People hitting the dislike button based on the title instead of actually listening to WTF he is saying. He is kinda calling out the industry as a WHOLE!

Haymon, Hearn, Arum... they have way too much Power in this sport and that is not a good thing because NOBODY is tuning in to see them fight but yet I've noticed over the last 2-3 or so fans are talking about them more than the actual fighters and that is VERY BAD

I knew Lou falling out was over the Wilder to DAZN thing and Shelly and Al probably feeling like he was trying to Broker that deal behind their Backs. While I respect Lou, Lou is looking out for Lou too, he is just more honest about it compared to the rest but he is still a Promoter at the end of the day

Yep he talked about how he got fired for trying to make the Wilder/DAZN deal, which would have mean fans seeing the undisputed HW fight.

He probably got fired because Haymon never wanted to make that fight, and them having to attend that meeting meant Sho/Fox had to now guarantee Wilder money that he wasn’t really worth. That meeting cost Showtime big money, according to Espinoza back at that time, he claimed they wanted to make the Joshua fight on Showtime, well where is showtime now?

This just shows us what the knowledgeable boxing fans knew all along, team Wilder never wanted the Joshua fight.

The reality is that Deontay Wilder had seen Tyson Fury land this mega deal with ESPN and genuinely started believing he could get a similar deal with DAZN, similar to the one GGG has. Wilder even specifically talked about how he can sign with dazn and still not be with Eddie Hearn. I mean they really started believing this was possible over at the lgbt/hebrew israelite cult, laughing about how dazn will sign Wilder and get rid of Eddie hearn.
At the very least, receiving such an offer from Dazn would have allowed him to go to showtime/fox and demand they match 'or else'.

What dazn did, made it clear to team wilder that 'we dont actually give a fk about you wilder, we just want you for the aj fights and will give you an extra optional one to sweeten the deal'.

How can we not talk about promoters when all we get are videos of black american idiots hating on eddie hearn inc fannon literally saying he wishes Eddie hearn had died in that helicopter crash.

As for lou. Whilst talking up the Shelly Vincent vs Heather Hardy fight in the press conference, he also decided to just tell everyone 'they were both ****d'.
              brilliant promoter isnt he?

DiBella wanted that AJ money. But the problem is Haymon Finkel and Wilder have no confidence they can beat Joshua. THey know their big alabama fraud will lose by early KO and that would be the end of their fraud.

If DiBella is telling the truth here he deserves credit. But he could be sugar coating it to save face. Wilder makes no money so there is no money to pay DiBella who really does nothing for Wilder but take orders from Haymon and Finkel.

If it is not obvious to you now that Wilder Haymon and Finkel do not want to fight Joshua and never did want the fight, you are a first rate imbecile.

I didn't watch the video just the time stamped portion of the Wilder Dazn deal. I gotta say people love to re-write history. In hindsight Wilder not taking the Dazn deal at the time it was offered was smart. Because when AJ lost there was no guarantee he woulda got his belts back & it woulda put Wilder in a bit of a limbo.

Aside from that John Skipper himself said he handled the meeting wrong. Ppl forgot when Hearn was playing games with the flat fees & stuff? As a result of that Wilder said he was done playing games & was/still is standing firm on his position of 50-50 or no fight.

Also you know the word is PBC fighters get higher purses than what's reported. So if you been following & reading between the lines Wilder got paid handsomely for Breazeale.

Finally I'm not sure if Lou had the network deal but we all know Al does. If Lou set Wilder up with a meeting (that wasn't approved by Al) with a platform that (as far as we know) can't really collaborate with another platform. Then it would seem like he would have every right to be mad. If all the aforementioned things I said are facts, that likely means PBC would be losing out on not only revenue from the biggest fight in boxing but also viewership if it was solely or even co-promoted on one of their networks. Also it's the Heavyweight division, Wilder winning isn't a forgone conclusion.

                    Bud not leaving Bob
                    Wilder not leaving Al
                    AJ not leaving Hearn
Canelo not leaving GBP etc etc.

If Wilder didn’t want the fight he wouldn't have even been at the meeting.
