    Wow, great boxing this weekend!

    I know i do this often, but we have so much boxing to look forward to over the next two nights, i have to vent..

    friday:
    ESPN2 Friday Night Fights
    Delvin Rodriguez vs. TBA, welterweights. Co-feature: Freddie Norwood vs. Anthony Martinez, super featherweights

    2nd half of the 1st round of the tournament on ShoBox: The New Generation
    Super Middleweight Tournament (Opening Round): Anthony Hanshaw vs. Esteban Camou, super middleweights. Co-feature: Sakio Bika vs. Jose Luis Herrera, super middleweights

    saturday:
    Showtime Championship Boxing: Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Terdsak Jandaeng for the WBO interim featherweight title. Co-feature: Rafael Marquez vs. Silence Mabuza, bantamweights

    HBO World Championship Boxing: Ike Quartey vs. Vernon Forrest, junior middleweights. Co-feature: Kassim Ouma vs. Sechew Powell for Ouma's WBO NABO junior middleweight title

    at a minumum, 8 televised fights over 2 nights?.. a boxing smiley is in order..

    btw, a quick list of all the times (for those wondering):

      if you're referring to Juan Manuel's opponent saturday, i'm interested to see what he brings to the table. being a fan of muay thai in addition to other combat sports, i'm always a fan of fighters from Thailand, be it any sport.. i'll look past the name (on the subject, i'm surprised i don't see any bets going on around here at whether or not Bernstein or Albert will make a crack at it during the broadcast )
