The so-called best fighters don't fight eachother. There's like 500 belts floating around that diminishes the value of what a champion should be. The overall skill level of fighters are absolutely terrible compared to old timers. Every fighter is trying to be the next floyd mayweather and is a diva *****. Most boxers at least the top level ones are so technical now and barely brawl it out. The refs dont allow inside fighting. It's a ****ing ****show, ufc is so much better LMAO AT U GUYS.

You said all of that to say what exactly? Why people still watch boxing? Despite how you may feel boxing is still very much alive you don't have to make a thread criticizing others on what they choose to watch.

          agreed

I still love watching the sport but it's true. Fighters fight 2-3 times a year if that and seldom fight top opposition.

Pains me to agree with this. Ufc is absolutely killing it.. Putting on stacked cards! Fury wilder is the biggest fight of the year.. What sort of ****ty supporting bouts are we going to get for our money?

Funny I was just telling my father how ****ty boxing is compare to the 80s and 90s . Everything you mentioned is spot on and in 2 or 3 years it will be dead gone . HBO saw the writing on the wall great move to get out !!

You must be one of those clowns who threw their life savings away on canned foods and a bunker in preparation for Y2K.

Years ago I'd stay home over going out just so that I could watch boxing. I'd get beers, snacks whatever and enjoy the telecast and the fights. It was all an experience, specially HBO. Now, I don't care to miss a fight, I go out and just follow the fight on twitter.
