Does Wilder have a good chin?

Or not been tested much because fear of his right hand. In his title fights outside of Ortiz 1 in the 7th round I don't he has been hurt or buzzed. He rarely takes good shots or gets hit clean.

Will anybody ever force him into a Holyfield Bowe type fight? Or does his reach and right always protect him from a war?

It definitely seems solid. I think it would take a big puncher to KO him.

seems so, he took good shots from Spilka, Ortiz 2 fights, Fury hit him clean several times so did Stiverne in fight one


he has filled out an a lot more physically strong in his 30s than his 20s and olympic days

Wilder doesn’t seem to react well to getting hit ,he freezes up with a high guard . I think what keeps him in fights is his height not many have got to him and he’s tough to get out there if you have to reach for him . I think Fury will stop him in the upcoming fight .


I don’t consider his chin that good and has only fought 2 known decent punchers in Breazeale and Ortiz but only one tagged him and was saved by the bell . I think he does have good recovering abilities but that’s not a good chin they are separate.

He can take a shot, but I dont think he cant take shots in Combination.

Everytime someone pops em or hurt him usually they hug em right after cause they pop'd em but they threw it with defense in mind meaning they already thinking incase it missed or didnt hrut him I need to hugg em asap befoer I get hit with one of his and go to sleep.

Some odd guys like Molina have had him rocked. Will be interesting when he does fight a decent puncher

King Kong Ortiz landed 27 punches (including 22 power shots) on Wilder in the 7th round of their first fight. He got nailed square on the chin and then the barrage started. I was on BoxingScene when it happened and everyone in the RbR thread was saying it's over. Pretty much everyone was against him. He proved you all wrong and you still question his chin and heart. I mean, what more does he have to do.
