I first saw him at the Commonwealth Games in 1986, winning the Gold. The one where Nigel Benn was screwed out of competing by the ABA, and they sent Rod Douglas instead to go win the Middleweight Gold (Benn had beaten Douglas earlier in the year) against Jeff Harding in the final.
