There are plenty of fighters signed to a promoter that are also signed to PBC.

You always fall into this trap of acting like PBC only has one kind of arrangement.

You think Sampson bid all that money to then try to sell the TV rights back to Top Rank to put the fight on ESPN? You think Sampson is going to sell the fight to DAZN? Where do you think this fight is ending up? Why would Sampson have the confidence to bid that much?

Do not be surprised if Taylor vacates.
Hearn loses purse bids all the time and so does Warren. They were only outbid by $60k so it's not like they didn't put up the money

Arum probably spent the bulk of the money on signing Taylor and wasn't anticipating having to outbid Sampson Boxing for Taylor's first fight under the Top Rank banner.

He sold out Edinburgh and the Hydro in Glasgow.... now he is going to whoever the rival promoter chooses

Bad move to lose a purse bid for tthe new signing and consensus #1 in the division.

Embarrassing man... admit it...... I am embarrassed as a Scot and Taylor fan. ffs, admit this is totally humiliating for Taylor..... sitting there with the ring belt and 2 org belts, getting outbid for 1.2 million..... an absolute disgrace.

Why are you saying it's humiliating? Taylor is getting paid more than what his promoter thought he was worth. For Sampson to bid so high for a fighter he just recently signed shows he sees the value in Taylor. And the fight is still going to be in Scotland. Hell, if Top Rank had won they probably would've put it here for Taylor's US debut.

Embarrassing, Taylor made his bed though bumping off his promoter who brought him from nowhere and signing up with the cartel and their blood stained money.

It is humiliating that the #1 in the division is losing purse bids to shiat fighters, for low amounts of money.... Taylor just fought on Sky Sports, PPV, in his last fight.

Good thing it is going to Scotland, he will gain a crowd there at least, shame he has no control of the promotion though, embarrassing even.
