How are they attempting to get the 147 lb strap?

      Showtime recognizes the WBO title.

PBC is attempting a full monopoly at 154 and 147 now. You can see in the WBO ratings that they're now heavily pursuing the WBO title at those weights, while ignoring it at every other weight. If they successfully secure the WBO at 154, will Fox start recognizing the WBO? I have no idea. Will be fascinating to see. It's possibly they'd just put Castano on Showtime where his belt would be recognized.
HAHAHA the mental gymnastics man... WTF. What you have to do in order to deny that Charlo vs Andrade is an unification fight.

PBC fighters have suddenly been installed at #1 and #2 in the WBO welterweight ratings.

I never denied it was a unification fight. I correctly pointed out that it wouldn't be recognized as one by Fox. I know you're used to being incorrect all the time, but I try to be very precise with my words.

I told you it was an unification fight (bigger than any other fight for him bar canelo) and you told me that Fox do not recognize the WBO belt.

If that's the case, the **** is Fox? owner of boxing? it's an unification fight we don't care what Fox think.

I see Danny Garcia at #1 who has been rumored to fight Spence and Lipinets at #2 who is rumored to fight Abdukakhorov for IBF interim. Would be surprised if neither fight happens.

Sanctioning bodies only have power because TV networks gave them power. If TV networks choose to take that power away, sanctioning bodies become powerless. Just like Sky neutered the IBO, Fox can do the same thing to the WBO if they choose to. Fox is, by far, the #1 boxing network in the US.

Haymon is playing chess, not checkers. Crawford was toying with the idea of using his status as WBO welterweight champion to automatically become mandatory at junior middleweight. Haymon installed his fighters at 1 and 2, which blocked Crawford from moving up because Arum would lose the WBO at welterweight to PBC.

With Crawford blocked from cherry picking Teixeira, nothing stops Haymon from gaining the full 154 monopoly. Haymon set up a situation where Arum would have to choose between 47 and 54, and Haymon would gain whichever Arum didnt choose.

I guess this is the only way GBP and PBC can make a fight? They couldn't make Canelo vs. Dervy, nor Canelo vs. Charlo either! Get your paper up! Should be a good fight!

When a fight can't get made, always blame the side that refuses to go to purse bid.
