  • Comments Thread For: Joseph Parker vs. Mariusz Wach in Play For Garcia-Vargas Card

    Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach made a very good account of himself in Saudi Arabia last month, when he lost a ten round decision to top contender Dillian Whyte as part of the Anthony Joshua-Andy Ruiz undercard.

    Could be good if Wach comes in shape off a Whyte fight . This is another fight Parker could look bad in , the Cojanu fight and Hughie weren’t long ago .

        Two reasons, one stable, the other recent:

        1) Wach is huge with little power but great chin which makes himideal for a fight for smaller guys who plan to fight good big guys in the nearest future;

        2) certain indolents would never understand that it wasn't Wach who suddenly became a very good fighter but it was Whyte who is simply an overrated very weak fighter.

        Generally, this fight for Parker is equal to Helenius fight for Kownacki.

            So Usyk-Chisora for the vacant WBO title? Interesting fight. Hopefully the winner fights the Parker-Wach winner. Interesting pair of fights there for the winner.

              Are there any Polish in Texas? Looking at the stats, they should’ve done this in Chicago for the Messicans and Poles. Unfortunate late entry

                Do people on here think this is the right fight to propel Parker back into contender status?

                Or is Wach just there for Parker to steamroll him, create some KO highlight reels, generate some interest and set up a payday/title fight?

                  Sorry to be that guy, but I think you mean 'insolent' - 'boldly rude or disrespectful, contemptuously impertinent, insulting.'

                  Indolence - 'having or showing a disposition to avoid exertion; slothful.

                  If it helps, I get the two confused constantly.
