Logically - Fury isn't really that good and he's picking fights (Wilder) he thinks he can win. Fury just has false confidence.
I'm sure Wilder did want an immediate rematch, on his promotion and on his terms.

Fury's last two fights are irrelevant, at least he's kept active and in-shape, he is pretty much the finished article already, he's fighting the supposed top man in the division, again.

Fury beats every fighter in the world, of course he thinks he can win, he's trained all his life at this game.

lol what would you say if Joshua had fought Schwarz and Wallin last year? I'm sure you wouldn't be so kind.

If Fury beast every fighter in the world - why isn't he fighting top-10 guys and destroying them?

You're living in a fan-fantasy. Fury's record isn't great for someone who has been in the game as long as he has.

If he had agreed terms for a Wilder fight, wouldn't give a shiat honestly, there was an end-game in sight, stay busy fights....... I wasn't exactly excited for them honestly, was just happy to see him active and getting rounds in.

When he beats Wilder he will have taken out the two longest reigning champions of this era..... in their own countries...... once he deals with Wilder he will beat Joshua as well, then we can all agree that he was the best and log off this forum.

I think both Wilder and Joshua (a much closer fight) beat Fury but even if Fury does beat them - it still doesn't mean he is actually the best. It would just mean he beat Wilder and Joshua once.

It's like when Fury beat Wlad and then he ran from the rematch. It's obvious Fury knew he would struggle to win again.

In any other sport many lower rank players hold wins over the best-players-ever in that sport. The way you judge who is the best player is by depth and consistency not by one-off fights.

But yes fans think otherwise - until their guy loses - then they change that opinion

I don't think Fury's head was right before the Wlad rematch, he clearly was depressed, drinking and overweight at that time, so yes, he probably wouldn't have won..... saying he ran from the rematch is obviously a very harsh take on Fury at that time.

So if Fury beats Wilder, and then rematches and beats him again, then fights Joshua and beat him..... that still won't convince you he is the best boxer at heavyweight?

I guess some people are very hard to convince.

Well Fury also ran from the Wilder rematch.... Let's not forget he had a drugs ban too.

What if Andy Ruiz beats Wilder? - does he become the best HW because he beat AJ and Wilder?

Boxing isn't just about one-off wins and Wilder and Joshua are still unproven themselves

If Frazier had run from the Ali rematches he would be the man in your eyes. But as it was Frazier won the first fight and Ali the next 2 fights.

Forget that - Ken Norton would be the man!

Whyte would beat Wilder, very likely. Unfortunately, we will never see this.

No damn way. Dillian Whyte is a fatter version of Sconiers.
