  • Comments Thread For: Fury's Promoter Rubbishes Joshua's Claim of Talks With Wilder

Frank Warren, promoter for heavyweight contender Tyson Fury, has rubbished a recent claim by Anthony Joshua, who stated in an interview that there have been fresh discussions for a 2020 unification with WBC champion Deontay Wilder. Fury will challenge Wilder on February 22 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. They fought to a controversial draw in December 2018.

Funny how Mr. Warren knows who to contact to do business with a PBC fighter, but everyone else is so unsure. Lol!

this thread is about to be full of brits, the WBC pushed the whyte mandatory until 2021, with aj set to take on mandatories and maybe usyk and wilder locked into 2 fury fights and then whyte in 2021 I don't see this fight happening anytime soon unless a miracle takes place and all these guys come to the table n put egos to the side

Glad to see Frankie doesn’t get up to playing that country vs country bs. He sees right through the narcissistic games Eddie Hearn and Joshua play.

Fury and Wilder are 1 and 2 in division. #3 can wait his turn. Whyte - who is like #8 or 9 - can shut up and stop taking PEDs

I'm sure Frank being a rival promoter fighting for the same turf as Hearn (and at the moment losing) doesnt cloud his opinions at all.....

Joshua himself said they were discussing about what offers they could make. He never said an offer had been made.

Therefore not really sure why people are going on about it like they are in talks anyway

Agree if you class Joshua as champion then this is those ranked 1&2 behind him.

Not so sure on Whyte though , it’s between him, Ruiz and Usyk for #3 challenger place at the moment
