  • Comments Thread For: Otto Wallin Gives Wilder-Fury Prediction, Talks Career, Options

Despite suffering his first career loss last year the career prospects of Otto Wallin (20-1, 13 KOs) have never looked better.

Four months ago at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas the Swede was the heavy underdog in what was the second installment of Tyson Fury's plan, co-promoted by Top Rank and Frank Warren, to invade America and leave fans clamouring for the Gypsy King's rematch with WBC Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

What a shame that he and Jeff 'The Hornet' Horn aren't the same weight class. So much entertainment we'll never get to see.

Otto Wallin is a good guy. Hope he fights someone on the level of chisora, pulev, parker.

Why not Takam, Duhaupas, Yoka or Kabayel ?

Wallin needs to get back in there soon and capitalize on the stock boost he got from that Fury fight while he still can. He could potentially get a decent money fight against a fringe top 10-15 name off the back of it.

He proved he can fight against a slick boxer like Fury but can he take a massive punch against a bulldog in the division. Wallin may have a bright future in the sport but I'm not sure he will ever be Champion material

Wallin's only rated by IBF at the moment, so it depends whether he concentrates on raising his ranking with them or branching out to the other sanctioning bodies. The most ambitious would be to offer himself as Usyk's stay busy opponent on the cheap, while WBO waits on Joshua-Pulev; that way he could boost his rankings across the board and steal a WBO mando shot. That probably won't happen though, so Washington and Martin look like ideal IBF higher ranked scalps.

I wanna see this guy fighting against somebody mediocre to determine how good he is.

Wilder will destroy the less confident Fury

Since Wilder and Fury's first fight both have had a couple of bouts. Wilder has fought dangerous world class contenders while Fury has fought tomato cans. Kind of easy to see who has confidence and who lacks confidence. I predict Wilder knocks Fury out cold in the rematch

He's a bit dirty to be a "good guy", he was scraping Fury's eye all night with his laces.

Chisora would be good, he's tough, can **** but is beatable. If he can't beat Chisora, he won't make it to the top level.
