I can't get into watching any division under 126. It just seems wrong for any grown man to be that small. HWs are OK, but I thought they were much better before everyone was 6'5" and taller!

Lara vs. Lubin (Cuban vs. Haitian) in Florida makes too much damn sense! Lately, it seems the WBC could F up a wet dream! I'm hoping Hurd looks good, and wants to fight Charlo! He seemed hesitant before, and then J-Rock got all up in him!

        You're singing off key.

1/ It IS full of good fighters but not great fighters.

2/ Good fights ARE being made. Lara-Hurd, Hurd-Williams, and Harrison-Charlo 2 have all been FOY contenders.

3/ points 1/ and 2/ make sure that it IS very competitive.

The division has great depth. The contenders are nearly as good as the champions. The fact that there are upsets keeps the division full of drama, interest and story lines.

It's only 3 years since Canelo had a toe in the division. He avoided the Charlo brothers and Andrade then and is STILL avoiding Andrade and Jermall now. Nobody is saying that Canelo is a bad fighter but to my mind he never separated himself from these fighters and this level that you say is crap - and him going life and death with Lara just proves it.

Most people thought Williams-Rosario was a good fight; if you don't think they are good fighters then that's fine. It was definitely competitive, and unexpectedly so since Rosario was such a huge underdog. If you feel that the 154 lb. division as a whole is garbage then by all means, enjoy the super flyweights if that's what you prefer.

The previous unified champion had already been knocked out before so what does that say when he was able to outwork and drop Jarrett Hurd who was undefeated was the division weak then?

None of the fighters are good.

Good fights are being made, between fighters who aren’t good.

It is competitive, the problem is no ones good.

The contenders are as good as the champions. They’re all not very good.

Andrade and Jermall Charlo aren’t at 154 anymore.

Lara is old and shot now, he wasn’t when he fought Canelo.

Yes the division was weak seven months ago.

I think they're good fighters, but not elite. The division has depth.

Lara is not proven to be shot, but obviously he is past prime. Canelo, Andrade and Jermall didn't separate themselves from these current 154 fighters to these eyes. So that means they are not very good either? And Canelo went life and death with Golovkin. So Golovkin is not very good either?

Kell Brook is a natural 154 fighter now and he has shown zero interest fighting these guys.

Spence is a big WW. But he has never even mentioned moving up. Wonder why?

I think you are missing that 154 has tremendous depth of talent.

What the point of that?? Lubin is #2 on the WBC right now why not ask for Charlo since Rosario/Willians are busy with the rematch

So when was the division at it's best when Vernon Forrest manhandled Mosley twice?
