I guess whenever you’re as good as Mayweather was, you’re gonna have intense haters — unless, maybe, maybe, you have a great personality. But Floyd was clearly a special fighter. Incredibly hard to hit clean. I’m not even a Mayweather fan, but anyone that doesn’t recognize this is simply blinded by hate.

I would vote Willie Pep. He was not a big puncher, yet in over 240 fights he was only stopped 6 times. He truly had to rely upon his defense to win fights and have a career span for that long.

... Either, I'm not a Floyd fan, tbh ... but that's the truth...

... Willie Pep stands as a strong choice for many before us...

I hate floyd for a lot of reasons.

But i also give credit to him for a lot of reasons.

I’d pick him pound for pound against everyone on this list.
Whoever he fights in this list he’ll find a way to make them chase him.

He has more offense than pea so he’ll edge that fight.
Fury really good at heavyweight but p4p he ain’t athletic floyd will jab his body.
I could go on but it’s tiring to type on the phone.

Everytime they fight floyd his opponents have the lowest connect rate of their lives.

And I hate floyd more than i love him. Only few fighters i’d pick to beat floyd pound for pound. Hearns would be the only one who wouldn’t be a toss up.... absolute prime pac would be a toss up.
Absolute best duran. Prime leonard as well.

Maybe the best version of loma and rigo too. But lesser chances than the first ones i’ve mentioned.

Wilfred Benitez was better than 2 /3rds of these guys.
