I guess so. For me Mayweather’s best run was 05-15, so that kind of disadvantages him when ranking a specific decade, whilst it doesn’t over the 20 year period.
Floyd started at Welter since 2005... Manny started in 2010...

Floyd was more dominant in the 2000s than Manny was in the 2010s. I think Floyd and Manny were neck and neck in the 2000s while Floyd was clearly the better fighter this decade.

Floyd unified both the welterweight and the junior middle weight divisions this decade and then beat Pacquiao himself. Pac could barely hold onto the the WBO welterweight title this decade.

... it's just simple: you have Floyd over Pac in the last 20 years... OK, OK...

PAC has a much better resume for for the 2000’s and 2010’s.

Pacquiao’s first fight at 147 was 2008. If anything Pac has had a longer run at 147.

                  ... I don't know... Wasn't it a "catch weight" of 145, tbh?...

Yeah it was tbf, good catch, it was still within the Welterweight division though.

Crazy how many people thought he wouldn’t be big enough, now he’s a welterweight champ in 2020.

During this span both guys have surefire 1st ballot hof resumes. One guy has four losses and 2 draws during that time frame. The other guy is undefeated, including a win over the other guy which is without a doubt the best win either of them had over the 20 year span.

When historians and media members put together “best of” or “ATG” lists, one guy is always ahead of the other.

It is clear the answer is floyd, but this is nsb so we have to watch posters make absolute fools of themselves trying to rationally defend the illogical opinion it’s manny.

It’s sad to watch so many posters claim “ well it’s just my opinion” rather than just admit they are making a choice the facts don’t support for other reasons.
