I don't have an all time great list and I doubt anybody else including you have an all time great list written down in order from the 1st best to maybe the 40th best. If I am wrong and you do have an all time great list then let's see your top 25 list from 1st best to 25th best. Since I don't have an all time great list I cannot tell you where those two boxers would be on it. It would take me many hours of study of all the great fighters in history for me to come up with a decent list. Even then I would just be guessing since there are many great fighters with no film of them fighting and if I can't see them fight how can I even guess how good they were. If I had such a list Pacquiao would probably make top 30 and maybe top 20 and I doubt I would have Tyson in the top 50. -
Is it hard to imagine prime Tyson bashing up wlad like Corey Sanders or ali like frazer left hook city. Mike has to be top 10 hw all time. Got to be even if yes at 10. Obviously it's ****** anyway how do you measure such a thing. People will have different parameters ie achievements titles held and length of reign, undefeated, ability how they match up 1vs1 against the others. But we know styles make fights and we also know anyone of the best heavyweights were capable of beating the other depending on everything. It's a really subjective list unless you come up with parameters, measurable things. It's all up for debate. It never gets anywhere tbh but interesting enough to hear other peoples opinions. Same for all time best across all the weights p4p its too hard to calculate. They all fought in different eras, different tech different sports nutrition and science knowledge.Comment

Honestly it's too much of a loaded question, so I dont think you'll get too many replies.
I think there are very few posters if any who are capable of putting together a coherent list. Me personally, I haven't seen enough footage of a enough fighters in the 80s and before. So giving you specific numbers is out of the question.
But I think Manny is probably now universally top 25, and you could make a pretty good case for him to make the outskirts of the top 10.
Tyson is probably top 100, maybe somewhere between 50-100. I really dont know, I'd need months of research, footage, time to do something like this properly and I'm quite content to piggy back off a proper boxing historians knowledgeComment

They're my #1 and my #2.
Just kidding.
Like the others have said, I don't have a comprehensive list running. One thing I always wonder for such lists is, do you have to consider the whole of the boxer's career, or just like splice out the prime years? Cuz if you're just considering prime, Tyson shoots way up, but if you've got to consider all their years of fighting, he does have to drop. Pac, though, remains way more consistent throughout his years.
Isn't this your second Pacquiao/ Tyson post, Hitman? I like how you're drawing the comparison, and I'd be interested in hearing more of your thoughts on this pair.Comment

Pacquiao is top 5 of all time, along with Ali, SRL, and SRR.
Tyson and Floyd are both top 20.
I have Marciano above Floyd.Comment
