I voted for Roy by decision, but that is biased as all hell.

For one, I didn't see him vs Ajamu, so I don't really know how shot he looks.

Second, my biased ass mind is telling me that he still has enough in him to keep winning until a rematch with Johnson, so he can join the club of "defeated all boxers ever faced club"

Of course, in the bottom of my heart I realize that he's probably done, and he will be KOed...

I'd be pulling for Roy to win...it'd be a way to end his career on an amazing upswing in one fight. He could finally retire, which he needs to seriously consider. Not because he can't do it anymore, because physically he's incredibly sharp and strong still, but mentally he's weak, and with the concussion-type KO's he's gotten recently, I don't want to see the guy get seriously hurt.

My heart's with Roy, but this would be a matter of Joe just throwing way too many punches for Roy, and setting a pace and pressure that Roy can't deal with.

I envision Roy's corner stopping the fight between the 8th and 9th rounds. They'll see Roy swoll up and taking too many punches, well behind on the cards, and end it.

Shoot, alot of people think he can KO Floyd at 147 now.

I know you might feel that Mosley is much better then RJ at this stage but I could still see it. Im not saying I would pick that but if it happened then it wouldnt be a huge surprise to me
This is the reason why I put my name on the record for Roy Jones Jr.Bring Calazaghe on and lets see whose the betta men!!!

Roy is not physically sharp and strong, not like a few years ago. He is a totally different man. Throws way less than usual, and he didn't throw a whole lot 3 years ago.

But his mental weakness is a problem yes, that resulted directly from muscular damage and the loss of ability that came with that.

This is why I respect S_L... he pays ground rent for living up Roy's ass, but he's not so blinkered he can't see this objectively.

Figures Gunstar voted Roy. He wouldn't pick a white fighter if you put a gun to his head.

Damn this is a tough thread. everyone here seems to think that RJJ was never good, and didn't see he still had alot of speed and skill left from his past fight. I know Joe is a tough fighter with the potental to KO Roy, but i'm still taking RJJ, just like i took foreman over Moorer, Holyfield over Rahman and Homles over Butterbean. all fights that most people thought they couldn't win and would be KO'd. alot of you think that we are dumb because we support our fighters, when you would do the same
