Is mcgregor the biggest earner in combat sports today?

He claims he made 50 millions for Khabib and now could get as much as 80 for Cerrone...some say this includes purse, ppv share and other sources but even so is impressive for MMA and boxing.

In boxing who is close to this sum? AJ, Manny or Canelo?

In a hypothetical bout with Manny who would be the A side and how is gonna be decided the split?

    Talking money is flippant.

But I don't think Mcgregor is the biggest earner in combat sports, due to the business structure of the UFC. Fighters must be getting taxed, and then that money is put back into the brand which is the UFC etc

Conor McGregor will receive $3 million at minimum for participating in UFC 246's main event against Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone, per ESPN's Marc Raimondi.

Mcgregor would earn more fighting Ferguson than Pac would fighting Danny Garcia, Errol Spence, Mikey Garcia, or Shawn Porter. It would do way more PPV buys as well. Probably double.

I don't think he makes that much. UFC fighters are Dana's ******. He should be getting as much as Canelo or Pacquiao because of his drawing power

I think he is lying about how much money he makes and I think Mayweather made more per fight when he was active and Pacquiao, Canelo, and AJ probably all make more money per fight than he does. Let's see what the big bragger is worth today.

AJ and Conor are both at the top, making over $50M per fight.

That is not how the UFC is run.

Overall the UFC has a big middle class, but at top elite level? The fighters are not making the same kind of money, as Anthony Joshua has just made etc

Fighters in the UFC must be taxed by the UFC, in order to maintain and build the brand 'Which is the most important thing in that sport'.

                The UFC is a brand.

David Price probably made more money than Cowboy Cerrone in his last fight 'Than he will make for this fight against Mcgregor etc'.

But overall the working class/Middle Class within the UFC seems better supported as a whole in comparison to boxing.

Conor must be making a hell of a lot of money per fight. His net worth is listed as 120 million compared to a net worth of over 500 million for Floyd, 190 million for Pacquiao, 94 million for Canelo and 80 million for AJ.

Conner will be on top so far since its January and he is the only one to fight, but for 2019 Connor was No 21 on the earners list and Canelo was No 4.
