Pretty much.... No one would attempt standing up with him, which could be an advantage if he had decent MMA defensive skills

Anyhow the transition will always be easier for a boxer. No MMA fighter would cross over to boxing and beat anyone in the top 10. But a boxer can crossover and knock one of the top mma guys out. The only way any MMA guy beats a boxer is wrestling the whole fight ( boring to watch in mma and boxing) or submission. Out of all the fights I've watched someone when dropped is mostly by punch. Not kick elbow or knee.
