Shields hasn’t reach her prime yet, she still fights like an amateur. Ali in her prime would beat this version of Shields.

I think Ali was asked about women boxing and coming out of retirement, she basically said no one currently would match her (Shields fights in Ali former division currently).

Shields took that as a shot at her, and said how she would KO Ali, Ali now shot back that she would definitely beat Shields etc because she has more talent that her.

And that nothing but 5-10m would get her out of her life right now to even consider coming back to fighting.

Nothing that Ali said in this whole thing was wrong, she wasn’t taking shots at Shields, who for me is just paranoid.

Former boxers always think they are the best ever, just like any current boxer do.

Ray Leonard always said he would beat Mayweather and Floyd always clap back. It’s nothing new, just that shields probably thought why not use this to create some noise for women’s boxing.
