Cotto catches a lot of **** for his chin but like Gringo said...he just refuses to go down.

He reminds me a bit of Evander Holyfield in this regard...Holy was considered to have a great chin...not really true though...what made Holy special was once you did hurt him (which wasnt all that hard to do) it was nearly impossible to finish him.

Cotto appears to have that very same quality...I think.

Cotto catches so much **** for his chin because he's getting hurt by guys that are 10 -20 pounds lighter than him. Evander was hurt at heavyweight , where he was the smaller guy.

You're right about Corley, but Torres was asked about "Cotto's weight advantage". Torres answered that he wasn't worried as he usually weights around 156 at fight night.

it does matter, always has, always will. i cant wait for this guy to get into the ring with a B or better level fighter.

all the **** about cotto's "questionable" chin is silly. the dude gets too exited and starts throwing like a madman and gets caught but he deals with it well. once he gets just a little more patient. he will be even more fun to watch than he already is.

They were scheduled to fight in December, Branco got hurt, fight was offered to Torres and he took it. He's people said they took the fight ahead of time 'cause Torres was ready.

"i cant wait for this guy to get into the ring with a B or better level fighter", I dunno dude but I would say he's fought better comp than your boy Paul Williams, plus your boy has more fights than Cotto.

                    Arce-Hussein I
                    Morales-Pacquiao I
                    Cotto-Torres

However, it was a great fight.
It was up against some hard competition for fight of the yearI would rank Castillo corrales and Morales-Pac above it.

                    But Not Arce-Hussein I , That fight was a pretty one-sided affair.

you really think so? I wonder if your confusing the 2nd fight with the first one. I thought the first fight sesawed in the early rounds and was extremly exciting.
