  • Comments Thread For: Nearly 19 Years, 250 Editions Later, 'ShoBox' Still True To Mission

By Keith Idec - Gordon Hall has taken the same steadfast approach to this 250th edition of "ShoBox: The New Generation" that he took to the series' premiere 18 years ago. Showtime is still thriving and creating great cards. The great home of Castillo vs Corrales!!!

Who would have thought 15 years ago that Showtime would be here and domestic rival HBO would be out of business.

This is what happens when you let fights play out and you don’t try to sell lies and protected fighters to the public.

I never miss a ShoBox. Nothing better than prospects getting their first real test.

Agree with everyone above me. Switched to a streaming service recently, and I would not have picked the one I did had Showtime not been an option. I respect their boxing vision. I would keep subscribed if "Sho-Box" was the only offering. It is so much fun to watch young guns, with their entire future at stake, throwing it all in the middle of the ring.

                    Love ShoBox, great article.

Such a simple formula that we need other outfits to follow!
