Not boxing but there was a taekwondo instructor here who allegedly dislocated some guys Adams apple with a spinning heel kick. I dunno if that's possible but sounds pretty damn nasty and painful.

I've seen it a few times in the gym. Hard really to get hit theire unless your chin is up in the air. But yea I've seen it, but never really seen anyone stopped because of it.

What i was thinking. I couldnt see myself ever getting hit with a punch like that after being so used to tucking my chin. But i was thinking about when Ortiz had his chin in the air when Lopez broke his jaw...Sheesh

It’s more likely to happen from an uppercut, which was the case with Bobick.

Not sure,but I remember in the Pacquiao vs algieri fight,pac hit him with an uppercut straight in the throat.
