Why are we acting like that version of Kov was a tougher fight than that version of SD? We aren't casuals here, we all know what each of those guys has right now lol

Therefore, I am contending that Golovkin was the ring general.
I an contending that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about
I am also contending that you have no idea what ring generalship is... as proven here...
Of course, I would argue that ring generalship relates more to positioning and control of the ring,
give it a rest man
FACT: Golovkin could not get his game going in EITHER of those fights... which is why he spent a year of his life pleading with Canelo to stand and fight him like a Mexican after the first fight
NONE of that trademark bodywork... NONE of that relentless pressure... Plodkin was following Canelo around like a lost puppy
FACT: Canelo got his game going in BOTH of those fights... which is why Golovkin did not stand and fight him like a Mexican in the rematch
GGG, was only GG... in those fights...
just like Roy said after Canelo/Chavez, when he was asked why Chavez could not get his game going, and seemed a little timid... "Canelo is too sharp, he made Chavez keep them hands at home"...
There was none of Golovkin's usual game, but there was ALL of Canelo's usual game... and then sonm
the fat red kid was too much for that boy
we told y'all
this is what I KNOW... I don't care what you excuse-makers say, or post... I know what you all said before those fights... and I know what you saw... and I know how you felt, ESPECIALLY in the rematch

Because what I saw was Canelo trying to fight with, and counter Golovkin during the first three or four rounds. Then, at the end of one of those rounds, Canelo began backpedaling and "moving around" the ring. He continued this circling of the ring for several rounds, and lost most of those rounds.
You can either continue with your insults, deflections to the rematch, and childish remarks that are seemingly nothing more than trolling, or you can conduct yourself like an adult and actually give your insights and observation regarding the first fight. Your choice, bud.

I mean why didn’t DC just go for Canelo? More money , beat the champ for 3 belts and not some lame vacant title chance for one belt? DC is tailor made for Canelo, basically target practice like Angulo and Kirkland
Also, SD wasn't likely to get a decision win over GGG...I think GGG deserved a slight win but I think SD deserved a bit better on the cards, as we saw.
SD could have beat Canelo 10-2 in rounds and he would have lost...he knew he had 0 chance to beat Canelo on the cards, and thus GGG was a better fight to take...definitely took more damage probably vs GGG though imo...that was a great fight and probably FOY imo...that I saw anyway...didn't see them all.

'Couldn't get his game going..."Canelo could get his going" lol...says who...it is all subjective man...GGG fought 3 guys before Canelo who he respected their power enough to have to box them, behind the jab.
He won 25 or so out of 30 of those rounds in those fights...dominating two of them and clearly winning the 3rd (sorry but if people really try to say Jacobs won 7 rounds in that fight...I mean come on let's be real guys).
GGG fought Canelo in that same way..cautious, behind the jab, winning rounds and the fights based on volume...Canelo did what he usually does, which is fight well in spurts, but he wasn't active enough to take enough rounds in either fight...just is what it is...not sure why people want to try so hard to twist those for Nelo.
I would also say that 'getting your game going' is really irrelevant lol...that would be like if you played Lebron in pick up, and you played your usual game...and you did some things that Lebron didn't like and actually bothered him some.
You got your usual game going...Lebron didn't...yet he still beats you 10-2 lol...or 8-4 like GGG really beat Nelo in both fights.
But anyway....from someone who has watched a lot of Canelo's and GGG's fights...GGG looked like the same guy in both fights...Canelo only really looked like himself for extended periods in the 2nd fight...when has anyone ever seen Canelo run/move like he did in fight 1???lol...I mean come on , if that's the criteria, then GGG looked way more of himself in fight 1 than Nelo did.
And even in fight 2 Canelo's best wasn't really as good as GGG's...he just got outworked most rounds...it is what it is, why people want to try and see something more there for Canelo, well feel free I suppose.
To not give GGG both fights, you have to not score a lot of his work...I've watched them both many times, and that is the only conclusion I can come to...maybe that is why some don't want to score his jab? Because if you score it like you should, you have to give him 2 Ws there.Last edited by Boxing_1013; 01-16-2020, 10:23 PM.
