What you mean is you arent taking Joe Calzaghe seriously, since its him that said it.

Bit rich coming from someone who said I'm not taking Calzaghe seriously.

All the guys he fought were guys who we are supposed assume are good
But many of those fighters got a big fight after losing to someone big
So most of them were just being put into that position after having a good fight and made to believe they actually had a chance
One way to find out if their for real , as sad as this is , checking out the wagering lines , especially in the days when ******** wasn’t legal
Let’s take a look at Lemieux , who is one of my hometown fighters , what exactly has he done besides having a couple of devastating knockouts
Why was he so deserving of a shot at GGG
How would you feel if that was Canelo fighting Lemieux

Lemieux's record was 34W 2L 31KOs when he fought Golovkin. That works out to be a KO ratio of 86%.

          Danny Jacobs had 31W 1L 29KOs
          KO ratio of 87%

Lemieux was a dangerous fighter if he was is in shape and facing a guy that has an aggressive offense. He was in shape against Golovkin. He got methodically dismantled. He got the fight against Golovkin because the was a title holder.

Canelo would never fight Lemieux because he's was going to get hit. Really hard. Harder than Golovkin because IMO he's a bigger puncher than Golovkin. His problem is his conditioning and his boxing skills aren't top notch. He can crack and he's a threat to KO anybody he faces. It would not be worth it for Canelo to fight him and risk getting badly hurt. Don't get me wrong Canelo would be favored if they fought but that fight wasn't going to happen.

Its life allright. He had plenty of opportunity to fight Andrade and Charlo and he wouldn't even though he was called out by them when he was at Canelo weight and later at Middleweight. He wouldn't fight Lemieux either. He might now however because Lemieix is having problems making weight and if its one thing Canelo is good at it's playing the weight game.

Lemieux is no one to fear
Besides that power he’s not very good unfortunately
I really doubt Canelo would be worried of Lemieux
You are fetching and fetching hard

No I'm not fetching. He's not afraid of him but he would not of fought him. Like I said he didn't fight Charlo or Andrade and he had plenty of opportunity.

if Golden Girl could sell the fans a Canelo/Lemieux fight, it would have happened already
