I know you need to hype up your fighter to gain attention but stop with the hyperbole until Boots fight and beat a real fighter. I like him and think hes the goods but he hasn't fought anyone remotely credible.

Interesting, and Porter said something similar about how he and Bud would have to "agree upon" the fight. I won't say that either guy is scared of the other. It just sounds like they would rather exhaust every other option before facing off because they are friends. I'm curious to see how it plays out because it seems like Porter's father is the one who is most eager to make the fight.

True indeed! I think his Father really wants an immediate rematch with Spence, but the WBC moved up DSG, and Spence also has the IBF mandatory after that. Crawford is the only "BIG" money fight available to Porter, unless Pacquiao decides to fight him.

Who the **** has Crawford beat at welterweight? How dare some of you clowns **** on Ennis' resume but not Crawford's overrated cherry picking welterweight resume. Crawford is a hype job that's supposedly a top welterweight but fought Jeff Bum Horn, peg legged Jose Bumavidez, washed up glass jaw Amere Con, and Eurobum Mean Machine. That's a murderer's row ��. Ennis has fought nobody but he has talent, fast hands, good endurance and seem to be on the right track but is unproven at the contender level but I like the kid, don’t get me wrong but do you know how many fighters I have seen with the same talent; go no where?

nah...the way i understood...irrc it went like this

before the mean machine fight arum was floating the notion they had their eye on porter if they got past mean machine...and porter made his comments...he even said something like "arum needs to slow down"....

then after the fight kenny porter publically said that they had the blessing from their people(haymon) to go ahead and make the fight

and then crawford backtracked....i believe they thought it was a cool idea to float porters name thinking that the pbc wasnt listening and wouldnt acknowledge them....that porter would never get haymons ok to talk to them....and then it happened and the reversed field real quick

thats how i saw it...if im wrong please let me know

after crawford fight kenny porter said they could make a fight...and if you noticed the date of the comments...crawford clearly reversed course later

True story. Seems to me Crawford is content fighting overrated bums and padding his record. He has no interest in a fight he could possibly lose. Notice after Spence flew through a car window Crawford really really start calling him out. Like let's make the fight right now. Smh. Maybe he like fighting wounded warriors.

Crawford-Porter should definitely happen because Bud needs a big fight. Actually I would argue that Bud needs it even more because Porter has more options with PBC.

arum kept saying "porter, porter" before the machine machine fight.....as soon as Kenny said they had the blessing to make a fight with Crawford it turned into "josh taylor, Ramirez and maybe prograis"....real quick

the people who hate on the pbc are quick to judge when they think a pbc fighter is using another fighters name to try and prop themselves up

clearly we have a case here of Crawford doing...and same with spence...he got real chirpy when spence went flying out of that car
