Don't tell me show me.
Unlike Arum, Cameron Dunkin has access to the entire PBC Welterweight roster. If Dunkin honestly thinks Ennis is ready for Crawford his next fight will include someone of note.Comment

well at least Ennis isn't hiding behind "he young doe" stories like Stank Davis. its great to see these young killers wanting to be tested. .. unlike Stank.
with that said its crazy how Ennis is called "green" or unprepared after 20+ fights. that man can be anything but "green" he's not.Comment

Boots needs to be humbled just like Crawford was when Gamboa hurt him back in 2014. The problem is getting those B-level fighters to fight him. No one wants to be embarrassed by a Young Buck! Ennis needs a fight with Josesito Lopez, Jamal James, Omar Figueroa Jr., Adrien Broner, Adrian Granados, or Kiryl Relikh. Dunkin knows that he's going to have to overpay to get one of those fights, but if he wants to be a player, he has to make it happen!
Most of those fighters you mentioned would be excellent step up fights for him-although I think Broner might be moving down to 140(if he comes back at all).
In not all that in-tge-know about his current promotional situation. Last I heard he was hanging since issues but they're resolved now. Either way, Dunkin's probably gonna have to relent and give a major promoter a piece of Boots in order to get better guys in the ring with him.Comment

On one hand Cameron Duncan does have a great eye for talent iirc. On another hand he surely can't believe this shìt he said. It's one thing to say he'd beat Crawford it's a whole nother to say it would be one sided.
I'd bet any amount of money in the world it wouldn't be one sided.Comment

I don't think he necessarily needs to be humbled but he definitely needs to go through the proper progression of competition same as ever other fighter has. There are certain mistakes he makes and only a higher level of competition will help him realize and fix said mistakes.

I say "humbled" because Crawford said he was arrogant at the time when Gamboa hurt him. When a better opponent catches Boots with some pop, he'll stop playing games in there. It only makes sense for him to sign a deal with Al Haymon, since all of his fights are on SHO. If he goes with Arum, he might get to fight Crawford, but where does he go after that?
I agree to an extent. The problem is prior to Crawford moving to welterweight, Spence (the perceived "boogeyman" of the division at the time) couldn't get any of the other top welterweights in the ring. And they all were with Pbc. It wasn't until Crawford moved up that all of a sudden all the players at 147 started to fight each other.
Boots is more talented than Spence in my opinion. The way they operate at PBC he may have an even harder time getting the top guys in the ring despite having similar affiliations. On the other hand he will get the progression fights he needs with the Ugas', Granados, etc.Comment
