Nooo!!!!! They aren't terrible at all. Remember venue got changed for this fight and it's not like JCC Jr is riding some good momentum or anything. Dude has been M.I.A since the Canelo disaster. Jacobs has no fan base whatsoever in the West Coast, so this mainly local boxing fans and JCC Jr supporters.

But when Hearn clowns Arum saying he sold more tickets than Crawford did vs Mean Machine? You have to put it in perspective. Gate number matters and I'm willing to bet that Crawford did double this game, if not three times this gate....Even if he sold less tickts.

Not sure what they announced nor do I care really. These are the numbers that matter. They could have announced 15k in attendance for all I care.

Ive been wondering, do boxers in the US get given tickets to sell for themselves, or is that just a UK thing? If so do those tickets get factored into these commission numbers?

Like buy them and then sell them on their own? Sure, the amount they bought the tickets for get included in the sales. What the fighters make after selling them on their own? No, that does not get accounted here.

Not too bad. What was bad was Jr's complaining about elbows when he got hit in the nose by a punch, or a few.
