I'm mainly on 10 minute blitz and I'm usually bouncing round between about 1400 and 1500, peaked 1565 a coupla months back.

I'd prefer the 30 min but I was finding it was rare for me to get an hour uninterrupted with the kids and stuff.

What abvout you, man? If there's enough interest I might look at getting this thing going after all.

I haven’t played in an over the board tournament in a few years. My last USCF rating was 1668. I play a lot of 3 minute games nowadays online, with the occasional 30 minute game. Up until July of 2019, I was around 1750 blitz, with a peak of 1838. My scores have really tanked since then, and I’m in the 1550-1650 range. Very frustrating sometimes. It’s like I’ve forgotten how to play. Lol

Yes, it would be cool to play some fellow aficionados. 😊

I don't think Wilder improve his game since the 1st one. The early KO Breazeale fight did nothing for him and aggressive Ortiz tagged him at will. If Fury will concentrate on is conditioning this time around, he will outbox Wilder to the victory. Wilder caught Fury late rounds in the 1st fight cuz Fury's reflex and movement got lazy and sluggish.

Yeah, as a kid I used to play at county level but then forgot about it, didn't play for years, cept for a brief stint in Germany when I was playing in bars to earn beer money when I was on my ass.

I ain't as quick as I was but Istill enjoy it and it kinda keeps my brain ticking over. Shame the local club clashes with my BJJ training though, cos like everyone I much rather be playing over the board.

Nothing like OTB, but the convenience and wide talent pool of the Internet can’t be beat. I’ll never be as good as I’d like, but I’m good enough to appreciate the games of the great masters when I crack open a book.
