Hazard is friends with Wilder so ?Comment

i agree with wilder, I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE his energy didnt match his words or demeanour. fury looks unsure of himself to me, which isnt surprising given the switch in trainers, his lacklustre performance against otto whereas wilder had a brutal 1st round ko of breazele and a ko of ortiz (much better fighter than wallin).
It's true that Fury has seemed a bit disinterested. Switching trainers and flirting with WWE and MMA definitely aren't reassuring signs.
But he plainly out-classed Wilder last time, and he never really had to take it out of 2nd gear.
Fury is the much better fighter, but Wilder is dangerous enough to beat anyone. There's not real question about that. This is mostly just an opportunity for Fury to right a wrong. If he takes advantage of the situation is another question.Comment

Tyson Fury will make this a brawl and during a brawl or an inside match, the one with more phyiscal strength tends to win. Wilder likes to wait and wait so that he could sit down on his punches and create range to maximize power, but if Fury is on his chest, Wilder won't have any power because his long arms would be useless.
But I think the reason he's even talking about knocking out Wilder is to screw with Wilder. Wilder has an IQ of 70. I doubt he can tie his bootlaces.
Saying this kinda stuff gets inside Wilder's head.
I just don't think Fury has the offense to being playing that game. Not on such a big level against such a big puncher. Not with him switching camps right before the fight.
But yeah, Wilder is a lot like heavyweight julian jackson, it's best to fight fire with fire - get him out of there before he can land his death blows.Comment

Pathetic how anyone could’ve had Wilder ahead. But there was no judge Hazzard in that fight. The guy who had Deontay ahead was Alejandro Rochin. Phil Edwards had Fury up by two, going into the twelfth. The second knockdown got Wilder the draw on his sheet.Comment

This is such a tough fight to predict, especially after the results of the first. Fury can box circles around Deontay, but that Wilder right is bound to land. If Tyson can make it to the final bell, I think he takes it this time. But can he do it?Comment

It's a ridiculously high standard to set for himself.
Ali used to always make predictions about stopping fighters, and it never happened, not like he predicted. But still, it could be a real bad look for Tyson.
What bothers me so much about this fight is that it appears Fury has lost his motivation. Even in their first fight, he kinda fell asleep at the wheel.... TWICE!
Fury should be able to beat the brakes off Wilder. He's not as dangerous offensively (no one ever has been), but he is a much, much better fighter. I just don't know if he'll show up prepared, though.Comment

When he did get lazy, Beyonce made him pay. But then Fury just got back up to do his best work of the fight.
If he had paired up with a real trainer this time last year and didn't distract himself with MMA and Pro-Wrestling, then I would say he's a strong favorite. But the way this past year went, it's hard to say what condition he'll arrive in.Comment
