I don’t really understand it because for me , wilder would be a strong favourite to win - and it would be a huge name to add to his ‘legacy’ and definitely close the a-side gap with Joshua.
Let’s be honest , a second win against stiverne and a second win against Ortiz didn’t add anything. He had already beaten both and the same questions remain on both of them as they did prior to the second fight.
Fighting Brezeale, although not exactly an appealing fight, did allow a comparison to Joshua and American vs American matchup so does add a bit extra to his cv.
