Comments Thread For: Kell Brook's Trainer Details Training Camp, Ring Return, Future

Dominic Ingle, the trainer who took Kell Brook to a world title, says he will not know whether the former IBF welterweight champion still has it until he steps back into the ring next month. Brook is back working with Ingle at the famous Wincobank gym ahead of his fight with Mark DeLuca on February 8 in Sheffield, hoping it will provide a springboard to a world-title shot next summer.

Brook's career ended with the Spence fight.

He can make some money for a few more fights, but if he keeps fighting waiters and strippers he will become a joke.

It's a shame because he could have really made a name for himself but he seemed to lack focus and fight too many bums.

Maybe his sexuality was an issue - being bisexual can be a burden on a man's soul.

Lol, Ingle can't even be bothered to spin the old "best training camp ever, Kell is fitter and more focussed than he's ever been blah blah"... Sounds like he's gonna look ***** and uninterested to me and Ingle doesn't want to lie.

I feel like Brook will never be the same after the two fractured orbital bones from fighting GGG and Spence. It'll either be a physical impediment or it will be a psychological one that lingers on his mind whenever he starts to go into deep waters. I hope none of that is the case and I hope he has a successful twilight.
